M.I.A.

We have been extremely busy over the past few weeks and I really don't know where the weeks have gone.  Lots have happened and there is a possibility for a lot of change in our family of three in the coming month or so.

Last week, Callen and I went to OKC to visit my parents (also known as Maw and Pops-Pop).  We had a wonderful time on our little vacation and saw lots of things during our week away.  One day we went to the Children's Museum in Seminole, OK.  I grew up taking field trips to this museum and always remembered having a great time when I went.  Callen also had a great time at the museum.  It is all hands on and all "kids" stuff.  They have a huge fish tank, a shopping area where kids can pretend to buy groceries (Callen's favorite), a bubble center (also Callen's favorite).  It is like a big place where kids can play pretend with real live stuff...fire trucks, doctor's office, etc.  It is really neat and Callen loved it.  We will be going back I am sure!

We also made a trip to the zoo while in OKC.  It was a great time, even in the rain.  Callen loved the ducks, birds, and goats.  We were planning on feeding the giraffe's, but it started to pour and Callen fell asleep before we could get to them.  Next time.

We spent a lot of time playing outside and petting (loving) the kittens.  We got in a few shopping trips and a trip to Norman to visit a dear family friend in the hospital.  It was a great trip, always hate to come back to reality...but, that is life!

Wheat harvest is in full swing.  They have been cutting for almost two weeks now, and would be almost finished, except for the rain that has come and gone throughout harvest.  Just a few more fields and this years crop will be in the books.  Jason is having to work harvest at his job and then at home too, so he is exhausted.  The rain has been a nice change of pace...actually getting to see Jason and Jason getting some much needed rest has been a blessing!

This week, I kept a friend's little girl and Callen's friend.  They had a great time playing together and swimming in the pool.  So much fun to see two little ones interacting with each other and what all they pick up on when together.

Our family has a possibility for some major changes in the upcoming month or so.  Will not discuss details as of yet, but please be praying for our family that God will guide us to make a decision that will benefit Him and to guide our family to His decision.  And that we may see and do what God wants us to do, and not what we want to do.  I know what I want, but I need to spend some serious time with God praying for His way and will.

I will post pictures of our vacation and of Callen riding in the combine.  I am so behind in every aspect of life right now and hopefully in the coming week I will get back on track.
