Could the weather we had today been any prettier? It was such a nice day outside and Callen was happy to spend the majority of the day outside. Granted, I am a little "under the weather" so we had to make a few rest times inside for me to collect my "raspy" breathe.
Callen is a big fan of feeding the animals and we did a lot of feeding today. He loves to feed Bear (the dog) and call her while he is feeding her. He also loves to steal her toy and play keep away with her. Some of our friends are using our land and the land behind us for their horses to graze and Callen loves the horses. We feed them daily and when it is nice out and when Jason is home, I put a bridle on the friendly horse and let Callen ride around on him while I lead them. Callen gets the biggest kick out of riding "Bud" and I have to be really quick because he runs away from me and goes under the fence to see the horses.
We also went with "Dad-yaa" to feed the cows. One of the cows is curious enough that she will come and eat of your hand. Callen loves having the cow lick all over his hand. It is funny to see his face and hear his laugh.
Callen and I also went up to the school to play on the playground today. He had a great time and even decided he was big enough to slide down the enclosed slide by himself. He is getting so big. I wish he would have a little fear of something, maybe one day.
Tomorrow is suppose to be just as pretty, if not prettier. I am also keeping Callen's girlfriend (Halle) tomorrow, so hopefully we can go back outside and play! I love spring and this weather gets me excited for the upcoming months and summer time!
This weekend is the big Sesame Street Live weekend! I have been looking forward to taking Callen to SSL since December. We have been watching some videos on YouTube of "Elmo Makes Music" and he is glued to the videos, so I hope he likes the show.
