What a weekend our family had in OKC! It was a great getaway and we weren't really ready to come back to real life.
Thursday we headed back (or close to) my old stomping ground to watch the Lady Bison play so ball. The girls had a close game, but pulled it out and were ready to play Friday afternoon at The BIG HOUSE. Sadly, the girls lost Friday in a heartbreaking game...but, they made it to the semi-finals of the STATE TOURNAMENT...I'd say job well done!
Even though this weekend was mostly devoted to basketball, I still found time to hit a few favorite places and see a few people. One of the highlights was what turned into a quick lunch with Micala (cousin time).
Callen did not go to the games...he just doesn't enjoy sitting still that long and he was pretty content to stay home with May-May. He did get another haircut and is back to looking "together" instead of "shabby."
We are back to normal life now and our to-do list keeps growing. State testing is coming up in a month and I have so much to do, that I really don't want to think about it.
Callen is feeling much better, his right ear still bothers him some; however, he is happier and playing! His teeth are also in and he is cutting two more...which don't seem to bother him too badly.
On top of giving Callen his antibiotics I am also having to give one of our cat antibiotics...I feel like a nurse!
Have a wonderful week...my week is devoted to testing!
