Hello There November

This year is flying by and I really cannot believe that it is NOVEMBER. A lot of stuff is happening in our home in the next few weeks, prayers requested!

Callen had a wonderful birthday and we are so blessed by all the people that absolutely love him. His birthday weekend, we headed to Stillwater for OSU's Homecoming Celebration.  It was great to stroll back to memory lane and also be able to share such a special place with Callen.  Jason was not very excited to go this year...however, he knew I was dying to go...so he sucked it up and went.  And he ended up having a great time and I think it made his weekend to see how excited Callen was about the house decs and going to the football game.  Callen loved the house decs this year and he wanted to get his picture in front of every dec.  It was a little chilly at walkarounds, but we had a great time.  Jason and Callen went to the game on Saturday and Callen loved it.  He loved seeing Bullet and eating popcorn.  He even made it till the end of the 3rd quarter.  It was great seeing friends and just being back in Stillwater.  Callen was a little (or a lot) disappointed that StillWATER was not a beach.  We had about a 2 hour discuss about how there is no beach, sand, water in Stillwater...that it is a town.  Yup, talk about a great drive trying to reason with a three year old!

After the weekend in Stillwater, we had a birthday lunch celebration in OKC with my parents and the Blossers at Texas Roadhouse.  Callen got to ride on the saddle while everyone sang happy birthday to him.  He loved it!  Once lunch was over we headed back to the panhandle for a week long celebration of Callen's birthday.  We went and ate pizza and jumped with Halle in Perryton for his actual birthday.  Then we had Callen's favorite meal...chicken for supper and ice cream cake.  We opened presents and played with his new toys.  He had a wonderful day.  So very blessed to have such a special little boy.

We had his birthday party the following weekend and he had a wonderful time surrounded by everyone who loves him so very much.  He had a pretty cool Thomas the Train party with pizza, a Thomas cake, and lots of friends.  Thank you all for making Callen's birthday so wonderful and making him feel so loved.

Halloween was great.  Callen had a wonderful time trick or treating with Halle and going door to door.  He loved knocking on the doors and saying trick or treat.  He was a Minion and he was pretty cute!

We have finally recovered from the crazy month of October and now we are beginning a crazy November.  Jason is super busy at work with harvest, so it has been a lot of late nights and early mornings for him.

We are on the final count down of meeting Callen's little sister.  If she has not arrived by November 22nd, then we will induce that day.  The doctor says he believes she will be a big baby, so best to induce.  Plus, as a preference I would like her to arrive before Thanksgiving.  So, no matter what in two weeks we will be a family of four.  Hard to believe.  Praying for a safe delivery and a healthy baby.

I am trying to soak up every moment with Callen as an only child for the next two weeks.  Praying he is able to transition and that we will all be able to settle into this change!
