My last post was about Callen teething, while I think he was actually teething during this week process...I also think he had a little bit more than just a teething problem. His nasty diapers continued through the weekend and where he got to the point of not wanting to eat. So, Monday afternoon we loaded up and went to the doctor. They drew blood (first from the heel to no avail and then the finger) and came back that he had a virus. So, while he was/is teething he also had a little tummy bug. We dealt with that situation (still are) and Callen is slowly getting back to normal. He is eating like he ususally does once again (which is great); but, the glimmer and smile that usually goes along with C Baby just isn't there yet. Hopefully by this weekend.
Callen is crawling all over the place. He really doesn't enjoy it...he crawls to get closer to someone around him or to go and find someone...all the while kinda grunting to himself. He is pulling up on everything and will stand by himself while holding onto something that he pulled up on. He loves to stand in the bathtub. So, bath time has become an occasion where you have to have your hands on him all time.
One of our cats (Penny) is letting Callen love all over her. She sleeps by him at night and let Callen crawl and roll all over her. Callen pulls her whiskers, and she just goes right along with it. I guess she is thinking that after 7 months she might as well get a little attention from someone.
Today is the last day that I have of work! School is out for the summer! So glad I get to spend all summer with sweet C and enjoying the sun! We have lots of plans and lots of places to go! I am ready to get this summer started and off to a great start!
