Tomorrow our sweet little baby will be 11 months old! Which means...it is just 1 month until our sweet little baby is a BIG 1 year old. I just don't know where the time has gone. These 11 months have gone by so fast. It has been so much fun watching Callen change into this little person. From being so excited that he smiled or rolled over, to being so excited that he is walking. This year has been so much fun and I know that the next however many years will be just as great. It is just sad that our sweet baby is getting big.
Anyways. I have been busy planning Callen's first birthday party. I am really excited about celebrating the day and I am really excited about the planning of the party. At first, I wanted something big and crazy. Now, I am thinking low key (my low key) would be better. The invites go out tomorrow and today I ordered the Backyardigans balloons and party supplies. All that is left is buying the food, ordering the cakes and getting everything ready to go! Callen gets his 1 year pictures taken October 4 at Choctaw, OK. I am excited to try the photographer and get some sweet pictures of C Man. I haven't decided on the clothes for his pictures...need to go shopping and see what I can find.
Jason and I have been busy looking at the perfect gifts for Callen. Jason got him a wagon and now we are trying to figure out the other gifts to get him. I am finding it kind of hard to figure out what to get him. He loves to do stuff outside, but since his birthday is in October it will be getting cold soon and he won't get to really play with it until next summer. So, we just don't know what to really get him. Outside or inside toys. I just need to get started and stop putting it off.
On another note...Callen is walking. Not all the time, but he will walk all throughout the day and then decided it is easier to just crawl. He is also taking longer naps during the day and instead of three naps he is down to just two naps a day. Usually one nap for 2 or so hours and another for an hour or less. He is starting to sleep till 8:30 or 9 in the morning...but, he doesn't go to sleep till 10 0r 10:30. Once it gets cooler outside and dark at 6 I am hoping we can once again make his bedtime around 8:00 or so. He is really starting to mock people and his sense of humor is coming out. this morning he was laughing and laughing at the tv and just talking and talking to the tv. His personality is really coming out. Fun months are ahead for this little family!
