Keep your batteries with you at all times.

The title for today is based upon Callen's favorite movie at the moment, 'Toy Story 3'.  For some reason Callen is in love with Toy Story (all three of them), the third being his favorite.  He will watch the entire movie in one setting without moving an inch and when Jason puts him to sleep he falls asleep to TS3 every single night.  Woody and the gang are Callen's LOVES right now.

Anyways...if you have not been lucky enough to see TS3 just spend a day with C-Dawg and he will gladly introduce you to the story.  In the beginning of the movie, the child in the movie (Andy) is going off to college and the toys are preparing to go to the attic.  As they are preparing the "Space Ranger", Buzz, tells them to keep all extra parts and keep your "accessories and spare batteries with you at all times".

I am feeling as though I am needing some spare batteries at the moment.  Granted, I am not preparing to spend time in any attic; however, the dreading testing session for Oklahoma Public Schools is upon every educator in the state.  What a joy.  This year has been somewhat of a "testing" of my patients and temper.  The beginning of testing is so very stressful and there is just so much to get done before the actual tests begin.  I always make it through all the paperwork and all the before testing starts junk, but not without long days/nights and several Dr. Peppers.  I am one week away from testing beginning and I can honestly say I feel so ill prepared.  I have not even opened up the boxes that contain the tests.  I have done everything else except open the tests.  I believe I am not wanting to open them because once I open them it is truly testing time.

So, if you have any spare batteries or parts you are not using right now, send them my way.  I usually get sick right after testing due to stress, lack of sleep and not stopping...however, with a one year old time just doesn't allow to get sick.  So, some spare batteries would be nice.  If no extra batteries or parts then just say a little prayer for our little family the next month.  It will be a change of pace for our little family.  We will make it...tears might flow and Advil bottles might be opened, but we will make it.

On another note!  Callen has began a new thing.  SCREAMING.  Continually, for no reason.  It is such a joy *SARCASM*!  Another reason to crack open the Advil or pop the top on a Dr. Pepper.  Most stages in Callen's life I love and enjoy...this one however, can easily go away without me missing it!
