Where does the time go?

I know I will be continually asking myself this simple question throughout Callen's childhood, but wow, really, where does the time go?  It seems just like yesterday we were going to the hospital and now Callen is 19 months old!  So hard to believe. 

Callen is growing and changing so much and my I love him more and more every single day.  He loves phonics right now.  starfall.com is his favorite site and we spend about an hour every day learning sounds and songs and matching.  He has a lot of letters down and he can do the motions to head, shoulders, knees, and toes.  He also likes to watch youtube.com for animals songs and cat videos.  Callen got a swimming pool, swing set, and play mower for outside...however, for the past few weeks he has been wanting to stay inside.  Who knows why.  He also LOVES to play Angry Birds on the phone.  He is also into Toy Story and he loves playing with Buzz, Woody and the Gang.  Like mentioned before, we are making his room into Toy Story and hopefully he will LOVE it!

He also likes to look at pictures and point out the people in the pictures.  He will also do this with books.  Example: Where is the cow?  Response: pointing, Ow, Moo.  He knows a lot of animals and is even able to almost say gorilla. 

Callen does not say No, instead he says nu-uh.  He doesn't get into trouble to much.  You tell him no and he pretty much stops what he is doing.  He is currently going through a stage where he does not like water.  It is a fight to get him into the bath.  So odd, since a few months ago he would take 4 to 6 a day.  Oh, well.

He has not changed what he likes to eat. It stays pretty much the same.  He loves pancakes, eggs, sausage, and strawberries for breakfast.  He loves green beans and corn.  Spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, pot pies and ham are some of his favorite foods.  He is a big fan of grape juice.  He loves candy.  A little too much!  He is becoming a really good eater.

He loves to chase the cats and would love to pet them if he could only catch them.  And he likes to take Bears (the dog) toy. 

He loves to feed the horses, ride in his car or wagon and swing.  He is such a dancer and will dance for a long time in the evenings.  However, he is a bigger fan of getting a book and cuddling up and reading with you.  He is such a cuddlier.  He loves to be carried and rocked.  And that is what I do best! 

He is just a sweet little boy that is so special and so LOVED!
