This post is a week late....but, Callen is officially TWO! I can't believe he is already two and in a few short years he will be walking out this door with car keys in hand, heading to town. But, before that happens...let's get back to being two!
We had a wonderful weekend celebrating his day. We spent the weekend in Stillwater celebrating a Cowboy victory and America's Greatest Homecoming! We got to see wonderful friends and even got to spend the night with the Blosser Family! Callen got to go to his first college football game and even though he was over it pretty quickly, he enjoyed seeing Bullet (the horse), waving wheat (when OSU scored) and he liked the band. He also got to visit Jason's frat house, the orange fountain and the ducks at Theta Pond. I am sure that the "ducks, ducks, ducks" were his favorite part of the weekend. By Saturday night he was exhausted!
We had a small party on Sunday for him at my parent's house (Ra and Papa's). His party was Thomas themed and he loved blowing out the candle and sticking Thomas in and up out of the frosting on the cake. He actually tried to eat the candle and quickly learned it was nasty! We also went and saw 'Old Grandma' (my grandma) and ate lunch at Steak and Shake. He got his favorite thing...a strawberry shake and fries!
Once we got home, it was time to open up his presents! He got a few Thomas things and a Thomas tricycle. He loves to load his trains in his Thomas bike and push them around in them. We had a wonderful day and I know this year will be a wonderful year!
We are celebrating his birthday with a big Toy Story party this coming weekend with all his family and friends! It will be so much fun! This momma has a lot of work to do before Saturday...however, I will put on my SuperMom Cape (haha) and get it done!
