Heaven in your Mouth

I have been dying to go to a new little restaurant in the 405 (OKC).  I heard about it a few months ago and ever since my mouth has been watering.  This little diddy is simply AMAZING.  Our family hit the pavement of downtown OKC this past Saturday morning and I was finally able to experience this yumminess!

There was a pretty long wait to sit down (10:30 in the morning), but it was totally worth the 30 minute wait!  Callen enjoyed a homemade chocolate donut while we waited for our medal table and chairs to be cleared.  Kitchen No. 324 (tries) uses all locally grown produce and meat.  Which just adds to the greatness.  They also make their own juice.  We all shared a pineapple, green apple, lemon, mint juice (I was the only one that liked it) while we waited on our food.  Jason got the open faced toast (it looked amazing) and I got the pastrami and eggs.  It was amazing.  Melted in my mouth good...the rye bread was like butter.  YUM!   Callen got a bowl of berries and munched on our plates.  The service was great and I will be going back every single time I am in OKC.  My stomach and mouth are impatiently waiting for the day.

On another note...as you can tell we went to OKC for our family getaway.  Which was odd.  Growing up in OKC, I have never seen it as a getaway spot.  It was just the place that you went whenever.  But, it was a nice weekend away.  We got to see our wonderful friends, The Blosser's.  And Jason got a new gun (oh joy)...it was nice to get away though!

Now, we are recovering and getting ready for Easter.
