Summer is in full swing at the Frantz household. I love summertime and Callen is quickly starting to love it too. We recently got a pool and Callen loves to swim in it. He is really getting the hang of kicking his feet and moving his hands at the same time. He is going to be a fish before summer is over!
We also got a new puppy this past weekend. He is a mut, but a pretty cute one! We adopted him from the Perryton pound and I have to say he is a sweet dog. He is great with Callen and not a hyper dog! Callen loves him and always calls and asks where "his puppy" is.
We have no major plans this summer. Hopefully some trips to the lake and a family vacation to somewhere. We shall see.
Callen is doing great and is learning so much each and every day. This past week Callen has started asking Jason "how are you doing today, Daddy?" It is really sweet and I love to see that his vocabulary is growing so much. He is super funny and is always telling some type of story. Granted, half the time you can't pick up on most of it, but he thinks his stories are funny.
He has started waking up a little too early for my taste. Around 6:15 or 6:30 everyday you can put money on it that he will be up and ready to go. Which would be great if he went to bed before 10 at night! Oh, well...hopefully this is a phase and he will go back to sleeping in!
