He is really into trying to figure things out on his own and will spend a long time working on trying to figure out things until he has it down.  Puzzles, shape sorters, books that have things to open/close, etc.

He is currently wearing (depending on the brand) size 18, 24 or 2T clothes and is in size 6 shoe.  He is about 36 inches tall and about 30 lbs.  He has really shot up over the past few weeks.  He is potty trained at home, just not if we go places or if he has a diaper on.  But, during the day he goes with out a diaper and goes potty by himself every time.  No accidents yet!  We will work on the other step soon.

Callen loves starfall.com and fisherprice.com and spends a lot of time working on his letters and numbers.  He knows a lot of letter sounds and can count to 5 on his hands.  He also loves Itsy Bitsy Spider with motions and Wheels on the Bus with motions.  He can also pick up and give you things when you ask for something..."hand me the white remote," or "go get your grey shoes." He can also find shapes when you ask him.  "Where is the red circle," or "where does the purple square go."

Callen loves to pray.  Every time we sit at the table he either grabs my hand or clasps his hands together   and bows his head and waits for you to pray.  We do this several times throughout each meal.  And if you place him in the chair and then sit down, before taking a bit he bows and clasps his hands.  He is a reminder for me every breakfast!

Callen loves to point out things that have H's in them.  I am not sure why he is so obsessed with the letter H, but he is.  He will point the sky and say H and he means a helicopter.  Or he will find something in a book that is an H and say the sound for H.

He is pretty silent around people...but, at home he says a lot of words.  New words are eat, snack, drink, ready/set/go, go, go go, monkey and most of the Toy Story characters.  He also knows the majority of common animal sounds.  He loves to do the sounds of cow, cat, dog, monkey, horse and elephant.

Right now he is going through a phase where he loves to be with men.  He just runs up to men and wants them to play with them.

He is also sleeping in his bed in his room for the first time EVER.  We are very proud of him and he loves his room.  And most nights he does not wake up till 6 A.M. He usually goes down for a nap between 10 and 11 and sleeps for a few hours and then plays none stop till about 4 when he hits a wall, but once Jason gets home he is good to go till about 9.  He currently hates baths and we have to fight him every night to get a bath.

He is such a fun, sweet, loving, and highly energetic baby.  And I am one blessed Momma to have him a my baby and to be able to spend every single day with such an amazing kid!
