It has been ages since I have last updated on Callen and our life. I have found myself starting and stopping on several entries and I have just never gotten around to updating everyone!
Callen is growing and changing all the time. Still no pictures...I have yet to put any on the computer! I need to get with the program! Callen's vocabulary is expanding every day and it is always fun to see what will come out of his mouth. Jason and I got the first lesson on watching our mouths this past weekend....Callen and Jason were playing Duck Hunt (the old school Nintendo game) and Callen missed a duck and then said "dang" after he missed it. So we are watching what we say now! He is also loving Thomas the Train (or "Me's) and will watch Thomas all day if allowed (which he isn't) and he will happily play with his trains all day. We go no where with out the trains.
He is starting to be really content to play alone for an hour or so and that lets me get a few things done around the house. Which is really nice. My house thanks him!
He loves animals and knows all the sounds and will gladly tell you all about them. Food is one of his favorite things and he will snack continually throughout the day.
We have done a lot of playing with Halle (his friend) lately and he loves seeing her. We went to the zoo last Friday and even though it was hot, they had a great time!
Football season has started and Callen could care less about the game. He is really a fan of all the socialization (takes after his mom I guess).
He is such a fan of swimming and will do swimming motions to get your attention to go swim. We spent a recent Sunday afternoon at the Lake with The Dearmin Family and he had so much fun swimming, playing and riding the tube!
Callen still loves technology and will spend as much time possible on the computer, phone, etc.
He has going to the potty down at home and we are so proud of him. We are slowly starting the underwear process out and about and he has done okay with it...still working on it!
I have slowly started working on his birthday party. We are doing a Toy Story theme...he is still a big fan of Toy Story, just not as big as Thomas right now. I have been told that his party can't be a big thing this year...so simple. I don't know if Jason is thinking his simple or my simple...I won't ask! :)
We are going to the Liberal Air Show this weekend. It will be interesting...Callen loves helicopters (AKA...H's). But, the noise might bother him.
We are also taking a trip to OKC at the end of the month to ride on Thomas the Train. He should love it!
Well...Callen is begging to get on Starfall.com, so I will continue later! Sorry for the delay in posts...life has been slow in our home...just playing with the kid!
