Sickness

Well...Mr. Callen caught another nasty cold. This time around it was a lot worse than the one a few months ago. The cold went into his ear, so that caused him to have a slight ear infection and a very bad stuffy nose. I took him to the doctor and got him on medication and he is once again being "tented" by the humidifer. However, his nose was so bad that he was unable to sleep...so Friday-Sunday night Callen and I did not sleep a wink at night. Luckily, he would nap for about 3 hours during the day...so at least we could get a little rest. He seems to be doing better today...he did sleep at least last night. Woke up every two hours after 1 a.m. But at least we both got some much needed rest.

Callen started this week with his new babysitter...I think it will be great! She is really good with him and once they both get use to each other I think it will go great. And he gets feeling better, of course! She lives right behind the school...so it works out perfect. God sure did answer our prayers about someone "good" to keep him in Balko. So thankful.

Last Friday (21st) Callen turned 3 months old...amazing how time just goes by so fast. He has changed so much, and I can't imagine what the next few months will bring. He loves to stand...he stands all the time when you hold him. He is still a cuddler though and we spend most evening cuddled up together in the recliner talking to each other. I never imaged how life changing having a baby would be and how completely and utterly you can fall head over heels for them. Jason and I are so blessed to have such a beautiful "blessing."

Hopefully Callen will be back to 100% in a few days and his life will be once again normal!
