We survived another year! Hard to believe that just 12 years ago people were loading up on can goods and storing water for what might be the crash of the world. We can all look back on those crazy "Y2K" people and laugh. Not only did our computers not crash that year, but we are now able to do more on our telephones than we are on our home computer...WELCOME 2012!
This little family rang in the NEW YEAR with the Blosser family, Dearmin family and Reynolds family. We had a wonderful time of food, fellowship, Thunder basketball and Mexican dominoes. Callen made it till 9:45 and crashed out, only to wake back up at 11:45 to say Happy New Year with everyone...he clapped for everyone cheering.
Every year I always say I am going to set goals for the new year...I always kinda do in the back of my mind and then come January 9th or so I forget about my "resolutions". This year I have decided to go back to my HS days and write my goals down and make sure I at least try and reach them. I have also set goals for Callen this year...sleeping through the night and in his own big kid bed is top of the list. However, what beats all of that is to have a happy healthy kid...I don't really care if he isn't sleeping on his own or all through the night. I have a happy, loved, healthy kid and that is enough for this momm-ma.
Happy New Year...may 2012 be the BEST year yet!
