Under the Weather

The Frantz Family have all taken to be a little under the weather with a nasty cold the past week.  And as usual, sickness hits when there is no time to be sick. However, we survived and I believe that Jason and I are on the mend. Callen, however, is still under the weather and doesn't seem to be getting any better.  His cough is gone, but his nose situation is worse and it sounds like it has settled in his lungs.  We have the humidifier going and I am starting breathing treatments.  If he is still nasty sick on Monday we will load up and head to the doctor....last thing we want is a nasty nasty sickness.

My mom came out this week to keep Callen while I gave the writing tests for the school.  The tests went fine and I am reminded by just being gone two days this week how blessed and lucky I am to be able to stay at home with our sweet little boy.  I do not regret the decision of taking a hiatus from teaching for a few years to stay with Callen.

It was a great visit with my mom and I feel refreshed once again.  I am also blessed with such a wonderful Mom.  She really is a blessing and a lovely person.  I took for granted a lot of things and becoming a mother has shown me just how neat, loving, and gracious of a woman my own mother is. If I can be half of what she is I will consider myself fortunate.

Callen has been extremely fussy since we got back from skiing (as I have mentioned numerous times) and hopefully we are on the mend.  He has cut 3 of the 5 teeth he is trying to cut and hopefully the other two will pop through soon.

On another note...the Lady Bison basketball team is heading to STATE.  Such a wonderful accomplishment for them and everyone is pretty excited about the games at the end of the week.  We will be loading up and heading to the city on Wednesday to cheer on the Mighty LADY BISON.   We are also crossing our fingers that Jason gets to call some state games in the coming week.  This has been a goal of his since he started reffing and he is getting extremely close to this goal.  We will find out tomorrow if he gets a game or not!  Proud of him either way.
