Last night Jason and I (and Callen) got to spend some time with some of our good friends and their kids last night. It is funny how a night out has turned into being home by ten because you are tired. I think it is called adulthood.
Jason and I never go places at night. Once we are in for the night, we seem to stay there. I don't know if it has to do with where we live or that we and everyone else is busy. However, last night we all "carved" out time to go to a JuCo basketball game in Liberal, KS and out to eat. It was a simple low key outing, but so nice to just get out for a few hours.
I really don't know why we do not get out more than we do. I am going to make it a goal to get out at least one night a month. I know, this seems sad to some that read this little diddy...but, it is true, "us country folk," really do not see a restaurant that often.
