Alter Ego

One of the best times in my life, spiritually and overall in life was when I lived in Stillwater, Oklahoma and attended LifeChurch.  If you are not aware of what http://www.lifechurch.tv/ is all about, simply listen/watch one of the sermons on the website.

LifeChurch is a "mega church" based out of OKC with churches throughout the world.   I still long and wish we were back in Stillwater attending this magnificent church.  I know a lot of people who have not experienced LifeChurch say, "How can you enjoy watching your preacher preach on a big screen miles away?"  Like many, before I started attending, I felt like the setup was fake and hard to process.  However, one sermon and I was hooked.  Craig Groeschel (the main preacher) is one of the best (if not best) presenters of the Word I have heard.  He has a love for God, The Word, and His people.  I have never been in a place (church, camp, etc.) that you could simply feel the love, joy, and desire for God.  And you can feel the Love of God in the room.  It is a beautiful thing and most Sundays I would be in tears; whether it be during singing, the message or alter call.

With that, Craig (the pastor) has written a new book.  I have read the majority of his books and they have all been really good.  The new book, 'Alter Ego,' is coming out in February and I am looking forward to reading and really diving into.  Before it comes out I am going to do some major heart therapy and completely sumerge myself in His words, His truths and His desires for me, simply so I can be MORE for Him.  This world is not about me, it is about HIM.
