Yesterday was Callen's big day at the doctor. He was excellent...did much better than I thought he would. The Tylenol made him really hyper...so he didn't just pass out. He cried when he got his shots of course...and I cried right along with him. Broke my heart to see him in such pain. But, like his Aunt Lori said...it is a necessary evil. Just wish the "evil" would be a little nicer! Guess it wouldn't be evil then. :) He only had a slight fever and was kinda cranky...but he woke up happy and ready to go this morning! Thank the Lord he did not get "sick" or too bent out of shape over the shots. Answered prayer!
Callen got to eat rice cereal for the first time last night. He loved it! So, we will be feeding him that 3 times a day. We have a little pig on our hands...he will be a rolly polly before too much longer! Speaking of rolly pollies and pigs...he was 13.8 lbs yesterday at the doctor and 24.5 in. long and his head was 16 in. He is growing like a weed! He is currently in 3-6 month shirts, 0-3 pants and 6-12 mo. shoes/socks. I guess he is no longer considered a newborn anymore.
This will be my last blog until after Christmas. From The Frantz Family I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas filled with love, laughter, memories, friends, family, fun, and food! I can't wait to experience Callen's first Christmas.
